Steve Domnitz, MDDr. Domnitz graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1986 and completed his residency training at New York Downtown Hospital. Dr. Domnitz has led the way in minimally invasive surgery in New Jersey, having performed his first Laparoscopic Hysterectomy in 1992, less than three years after the worlds first such case was performed. He continues at the forefront of minimally invasive and robotic surgery, having been featured in television and newspaper stories for the many “firsts” he’s performed over the years. He has also appeared in “A Baby Story” and “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” He is an active lecturer and regularly teaches his minimally invasive surgical techniques to other physicians. His professional interests include all facets of obstetrics and gynecology but he particularly enjoys treating endometriosis, fibroids, bleeding irregularities and urinary stress incontinence.
Sheila Newman, MDAfter graduating magna cum laude from Yale University with a degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, Dr. Newman pursued her graduate education at New York University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete internship and residency at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center (currently New York Presbyterian Hospital). Dr. Newman has been at Associates in Women’s Healthcare for 16 years, and enjoys all aspects of gynecology and obstetrics, but is especially interested in high risk obstetrics, HPV and abnormal Pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Newman and her husband Wayne have three sons and reside in Montville Township.
Nina Mohammed, MDAfter receiving an AB degree in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College, Dr. Mohammed attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Upon finishing her medical studies, she completed her internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in 1994. Dr. Mohammed has been in private practice since completing her training, and has had opportunities to serve as a Clinical Instructor for both Medical Students and Residents. She provides comprehensive care to patients from adolescence through menopause, and has specific interest in minimally invasive surgery for abnormal uterine bleeding and urinary incontinence. Dr. Mohammed is an avid long distance runner and has competed in distances ranging from 5K to marathons. She has three sons and resides in Glen Rock.
Seymour Eisner, MDDr. Seymour Eisner graduated in 1955 from the State University College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York. He was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He did a rotating internship at the Philadelphia General Hospital through 1956 after which he served two years in the US Air Force as a Flight Surgeon. After his discharge, he returned to the Philadelphia General Hospital to complete his residency training. He established his own OB/GYN practice in 1962. In 1973, he joined Dr. Bernard Simon to establish the Wayne Obstetrical Group, now known as Associates in Women’s Healthcare. Dr. Eisner served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Chilton Hospital from 1986 through 1990. Currently Dr. Eisner’s practice is office based with a particular interest in the care of postmenopausal women.
Judith Pinto, MDAfter graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Pinto completed her medical school training at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then completed her residency training at the University of Connecticut Health Center, which included robotic training. She has been involved in medical research and has authored several research papers before joining our practice.
Lucille Fream, CNMLucille Fream studied nurse midwifery at UMDNJ after working as an obstetrical nurse at Chilton Hospital for more than 10 years. She was an actively practicing midwife doing uncomplicated deliveries for several years afterwards. She then decided to concentrate on office practice only and has been working at Associates in Women’s Healthcare for almost twenty years. Her scope of practice includes all areas of well woman and problem gynecology as well as office obstetrics. She particularly enjoys adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management, and perimenopause and menopause concerns. Lucille resides in Wayne with her husband Joe, and their two dogs, and is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother of three boys.
Dawn Ammirata, APNDawn Ammirata graduated in 1985 with her degree in Nursing and worked for 16 years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Dawn then went on to earn her Master’s degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Seton Hall University in 2001. Dawn joined Associates in Women’s Healthcare in 2001 and maintains an active interest in treating our adolescent patients. Her warm personality and bedside manner help to alleviate the anxiety that’s often associated with a patient’s first exam. Dawn has two children and likes to spend her free time actively involved in auto racing.
Melissa Bentley, APNAssociates In Women’s Healthcare is happy to welcome Melissa Bentley, APN, to our practice. She earned her nursing degree from Felician College in 2001. Melissa has been working with our AWH doctors for over 12 years as a labor and delivery nurse at Chilton Hospital. She recently completed her Master’s program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), where she earned her degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She has specific interest in working with adolescents, and contraception management. When she’s not in the office, she loves to spend time with her husband and 2 sons.
